I’m running because we deserve a full‑time representative rooted in this community. State‑level decisions have overridden local control, and the current officeholder’s dual roles divide focus. My family has lived, worked, and gone to school here for 40+ years, and I’m stepping forward to ensure our voice is heard!

My family has owned and operated small businesses in this area since the 1970s — including our dry cleaners in Frederick and Nelson’s, which once stood where the Shoreline Costco and Home Depot are today. My parents ran Prince Cleaners on 164th Street from 1992 to 2025, serving thousands of customers over 33 years. If you’ve lived around here for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve met them.

I’ve built my career across Microsoft, Amazon, Redfin, CRISTA Ministries, US Bank, and Bank of America—each one sharpening the tools and skills that drive my success today.

Attended both private and public education locally here in Washington State including CRISTA/King's schools, Kamiak High school, and the University of Washington Seattle (Drama/Communications, and Bothell (MBA, also selected as Commencement Speaker)

I am committed to protecting the environment for both current and future generations. That means advancing policies that restore natural landscapes, safeguard biodiversity, and ensure clean air and clean water for every community. My work at Zeolite Composites reflects this commitment in a tangible way, demonstrating how innovative, science‑based solutions can strengthen environmental stewardship.

First and foremost to God be the glory! Jesus calls us to love our neighbor and that's exactly what we need to do in our district!

Our community is blessed to have a wonderful community of seniors who love their city and it's our job to respect and listen to them. (The late Phyllis Gutierrez Kenney who endorsed Jason Moon in 2024)

For over three decades, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting young people. They carry the future of our community and our nation. The more we pour into them with guidance, integrity, and opportunity, the more hopeful and vibrant our shared future becomes.

Growing up as the child of immigrants working 72–84 hours a week, my family lived in a one‑bedroom apartment, and I slept on the floor until I was 13. I was often bullied and felt alone as a chubby Korean kid trying to find my place. Those years were tough, but they gave me perspective and shaped how I see the world today.
Fiscal responsibility matters. We can’t keep spending $1.10 for every $1 we take in — it’s unsustainable and it’s unfair to taxpayers. Too often, Olympia acts like someone else is picking up the tab, and families are the ones left paying the price. I’m committed to holding government accountable and making sure we stretch every dollar to serve our communities effectively.
Economic development is essential, but it shouldn’t be forced through one‑size‑fits‑all density mandates or cookie‑cutter laws that erase the character of our cities. Local communities deserve the power to make the right decisions for themselves — in housing, in planning, and in economic development. Our cities know their needs better than any top‑down mandate ever will.
We need real accountability and stronger public safety. Prosecutors are overwhelmed, and too many burglaries and vandalism cases go unaddressed. Washington has the lowest law‑enforcement staffing per capita in the country — that has to change. We must hire more officers, support them, and ensure they’re well‑trained and accountable so our communities stay safe.
Safe communities depend on consequences that are real, consistent, and fair.
I’m committed to full‑time representation. My opponent is holding two taxpayer‑funded offices at once — that’s double‑dipping, and it shortchanges our community. I will give 100% of my time to serving in the State House and never take advantage of your tax dollars. No one should hold two elected offices at the same time.

True leadership is measured not by titles held, but by trust earned. It’s about doing the hard, often unseen work to make systems more just, more inclusive, and more responsive. I believe elected officials must lead with empathy, accountability, and a relentless focus on impact—not applause.
