I’m running because we deserve a full‑time representative rooted in this community. State‑level decisions have overridden local control, and the current officeholder’s dual roles divide focus. My family has lived, worked, and gone to school here for 40+ years, and I’m stepping forward to ensure our voice is heard!
Fiscal responsibility matters. We can’t keep spending $1.10 for every $1 we take in — it’s unsustainable and it’s unfair to taxpayers. Too often, Olympia acts like someone else is picking up the tab, and families are the ones left paying the price. I’m committed to holding government accountable and making sure we stretch every dollar to serve our communities effectively.
I’m committed to full‑time representation. My opponent is holding two taxpayer‑funded offices at once — that’s double‑dipping, and it shortchanges our community. I will give 100% of my time to serving in the State House and never take advantage of your tax dollars. No one should hold two elected offices at the same time.
Economic development is essential, but it shouldn’t be forced through one‑size‑fits‑all density mandates or cookie‑cutter laws that erase the character of our cities. Local communities deserve the power to make the right decisions for themselves — in housing, in planning, and in economic development. Our cities know their needs better than any top‑down mandate ever will.
We need real accountability and stronger public safety. Prosecutors are overwhelmed, and too many burglaries and vandalism cases go unaddressed. Washington has the lowest law‑enforcement staffing per capita in the country — that has to change. We must hire more officers, support them, and ensure they’re well‑trained and accountable so our communities stay safe.
Safe communities depend on consequences that are real, consistent, and fair.
I am committed to protecting our planet and ensuring a healthy future for the next generation. Through my work at Zeolite Composites, I’ve seen firsthand how innovative, science‑driven solutions can strengthen environmental protection without increasing costs for families or businesses. I support efforts to expand renewable energy and grow Washington’s clean‑energy workforce in a way that is both sustainable and economically responsible.
Our state needs to get back to the basics and remember what once made it a magnet for entrepreneurs and growing businesses. Many business owners have voiced concerns that recent policies are making it harder to stay and grow here, and I believe we need to refocus on supporting small businesses, empowering innovators, strengthening our workforce, and creating the conditions for broad, sustainable economic growth. When we prioritize the people who build, create, and work here, we build an economy that lifts entire communities.
We need to fix our healthcare system in Washington, we need stable, progressive revenue that doesn’t fall on working families, stronger oversight of for‑profit healthcare systems to rein in hospital and prescription drug costs, and a firm commitment to science‑based public health so families receive reliable, evidence‑driven guidance. And we can’t deliver truly equitable care without fixing the way we collect data—because today the AANHPI community is still lumped into a single “Asian” category in U.S. medical records, despite representing 44 countries, hundreds of languages, and nearly half the world’s population, creating major gaps in care and outcomes.
As a child of immigrants, I learned early that education is the greatest investment a family can make. Thanks to my parents’ sacrifice, my sister and I graduated from UW — and she’s now been teaching for 14 years. My youngest son went through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Special Needs program, and I’m deeply grateful to the educators and specialists who helped him thrive. We need to fund our schools and refocus on the core skills — math, science, reading — that give every student a real chance to succeed.

My family has owned and operated Prince Cleaners on 164th Street from 1989 to 2025, serving thousands of customers over 36 years. If you’ve lived around here for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve met them.

I’ve built my career across Microsoft, Amazon, CRISTA Ministries — each one sharpening the tools and skills that drive my success today.

Attended both private and public education locally here in Washington State including CRISTA/King's schools, Kamiak High school, and the University of Washington Seattle (Drama/Communications, and Bothell (MBA, also selected as Commencement Speaker)

I am committed to protecting the environment for both current and future generations. That means advancing policies that restore natural landscapes, safeguard biodiversity, and ensure clean air and clean water for every community. My work at Zeolite Composites reflects this commitment in a tangible way, demonstrating how innovative, science‑based solutions can strengthen environmental stewardship.

First and foremost to God be the glory! Jesus calls us to love our neighbors and that's exactly what we need to do in our district!

Our community is blessed to have a wonderful community of seniors who love their city and it's our job to respect and listen to them. (The late Phyllis Gutierrez Kenney who endorsed Jason Moon in 2024)

For over three decades, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting young people. They carry the future of our community and our nation. The more we pour into them with guidance, integrity, and opportunity, the more hopeful and vibrant our shared future becomes.

Growing up as the child of immigrants working 72–84 hours a week, my family lived in a one‑bedroom apartment, and I slept on the floor until I was 13. I was often bullied and felt alone as a chubby Korean kid trying to find my place. Those years were tough, but they gave me perspective and shaped how I see the world today.
True leadership is measured not by titles held, but by trust earned. It’s about doing the hard, often unseen work to make systems more just, more inclusive, and more responsive. I believe elected officials must lead with empathy, accountability, and a relentless focus on impact—not applause.
